Manual Flange V-type Ball Valve

Overview:

V-type flange ball valve is one of the ball valves. Its closure part is the V shape port in the hemisphere. The V shape port has sharp edge, which generates strong force to shut-off the flow when the ball rotating. The V shape port and the seat passage formed a fan-shaped area, where the cross-sectional area of the passage would be changed when the flow circulating, so as to accurately adjusting with medium. So it is an angle-rotary control valve, which is the same as normal ball valve in terms of sealing performance. The valve has both functions of controlling and on-off, which could match with pneumatic or electrical actuator to widely use in the industrial process automation systems.

Manual flange V-type ball valve is applicable for energy, petrochemical, metallurgy, chemical industry, mining, paper-making, environmental protecting, biochemical, pharmacy, petroleum, power plant, light industry, food, sugar and other industries.

Features:

Integrated body structure: the valve adopts integrated side entry structure, which has strong rigid, so that it does not lead to deformation or leakage easily.
Self-lubricated bearing: the bearing has function of self-lubricated from the top to the bottom. It contacts the stem with large areas, has high loading capacity and small abrasion coefficient so as to decrease the valve torque.
According to medium and working condition, the seat could be selected with metal or with PTFE. The surface of metal seat is built-up welded with hard alloy, the surface of ball is plated by hard chromium or spray-welded or processed by ionic nitriding treatment so as to prolong the service life and rising the performance of temperature resistance. The PTFE seat or reinforced PTFE seat have excellent sealing performance, erosion resistance, widely usage.
Wide range of applicable medium: due to the shearing force generated from the V-shaped port and seat, in addition the passage in the inner cavity is smooth and in good order, all of which make the medium does not deposit in the inner cavity easily. So except of fluid, the valve is more suitable for systematically controlling the medium mixed with fibers and solid particles.
Accurately controlling low flow: small Cv value could be precisely controlled by processing the special V-shaped port in the small size ball.
