Large size welded ball valve is a high performance ball valve, which is suitable for long distance transporting pipelines and common industry pipelines with corrosive and non-corrosive mediums.
Compared with floating ball valve, the force generated by the fluid pressure before valve on the ball is fully transferred to the bearing during operation, the ball does not move to seat so that the seat would not withstand too much pressure. So the trunnion ball valve has features of small torque, tiny deformed with seat, stable sealing performance, long service life, it is suitable for the working condition of high pressure, large diameter.
Advanced spring pre-seat assembly has function of self-tighten, which achieves sealing on upstream.
Each valve has two seats and they could be sealed in both directions, so that there is no limitation of flow direction. Generally, large size welded ball valve is installed in horizontal direction.
