API Gate Valve
Application:
API gate valve has the features of small fluid resistance, small impact and corrosion on the seal surface, no change the flow direction, no disturbance, small pressure drop, etc. It is a normal shut-down valve which is applicable for the work condition of range pressure and temperature. So it is widely used for connecting or shut off the flow in the pipelines of oil, water, steam in the petroleum, chemistry, thermal power plants, etc.
Features:
Compact structure, good appearance, fully-diameter passage, low coefficient of flow resistance.
The sealing surface is made of alloy steel or hard metal, which is rational matched with secondary sealing material, so that the service life could be very long.
The gate is designed to be resilient or rigid wedge single gate. The stem surface is processed by nitriding treatment, so that it has high performances of corrosive-resistance, fracture-resistance. The packing adopts flexible graphite, which is reliable in sealing performance and easy to operate, the torque is small when starting and close.
Various piping flange standards and sealing surface types can be optional. Furthermore, operated by manual, gear box, electrical, pneumatic are all available.
